Bianca Anglero is a mixed media artist who works with alternative processes and techniques, collage, and sculpture. Her work explores themes such as ephemera, memory, communication, and corporeality. It aims to make tactile and permanent, that which can only be felt or understood. Inspired by art movements such as Post-Minimalism and Dada, she constructs pieces that involve repetition, fragmentation, layering, and a general exploration of “the spaces in between”. She draws inspiration from artists such as Eva Hesse and Joseph Beuys. She fuses her understanding of the organic world and abstract concepts to create whimsical artwork with a slightly dark edge.
